In a report carried by The Wall Street Journal’s MarketWatch website on Monday, TransMedia Group announced it has signed 12-year-old Cedar Fort author McKenzie Wagner and will publicize the author’s upcoming book, “Benotripia: The Stones of Horsh.”
Wagner joins a group of pre-teen prodigies represented by TransMedia, including 12-year-old Monster truck driver Kaid Jarret “KJ” Olson-Weston and 12-year-old inventor Zach Marks who created GROM Social, a Facebook-like social network for kids.
Wagner has been fond of reading since she was four years old, reports her father, Robert, and started writing when she was seven.
TransMedia is based in Boca Raton, Fla., and has been representing international clients since 1981.
“Stones of Horsh” is the second installment in Wagner’s Benotripia series and will be released on Sept. 10, 2013. The book is currently available for pre-order on BooksAndThings.com, BarnesAndNoble.com, and Amazon.com.
