Carla Kelly’s ‘My Loving Vigil Keeping’ wins Best Historical award at 2012 Whitneys

My Loving Vigil Keeping webCarla Kelly’s “My Loving Vigil Keeping” was named Best Historical novel and was one of three Cedar Fort novels that were named as finalists for an award.

Matt Peterson’s “The Epic Tales of a Misfit Hero” and Heather Frost’s “Demons” were the other Cedar Fort finalists and were up for a Whitney in the Middle Grade and Young Adult-Speculative categories, respectively.

The award is the latest in a long line of honors for Kelly, whose latest novel, “Miss Grimsley’s Oxford Career” is available in bookstores and online now.
